Merry Christmas! I hope that everyone is having a fabulous Christmas season! This week and the next week or so are going to be a little crazy for me so I hope I don't go too crazy.
So quickly to get through the physical crazy news. The family that we are living with has their family coming in for the Christmas holiday so we are moving around to different families in the ward. So I'll be moving 3 more times before the next transfer on the 13th :). Other than that things have been going pretty well. Elder Guerrette and I are doing well. The funny thing about this time of year is that everyone seems to want to give us cookies, fudge, or some other baked good or candy. We have a few boxes of stuff that we don't know what to do with. :/ But it's so awesome to see the kindness that we have been shown by the people here. I love this time of year because it just seems like people seem to be kinder for some reason. We've actually had better experiences knocking on doors than before because of this strange phenomenon.
We finally got to teach a full lesson with a older lady that we have been doing service for for the last few weeks. It was really awesome to teach her for reals. She still has a lot of question so I hope that we can answer them, but the most important questions are not ones that we can answer for her. Those are questions that she has to get the answers from her Heavenly Father... who she doesn't believe is real. It's been interesting.
I have been thinking about something a little during this week. As missionaries our job is to invite people to change. And if there is anything that I know, it's that changing who you are is one of the hardest things that you can do. That's why it is sometimes so difficult to be a missionary, most people don't like to do really hard things. But, the most amazing thing about that is that the Lord has prepared people for us to invite. These are people that would be willing to change, they just have to hear the words from you. That's why I get up in the morning, to find those people that are prepared to hear that invitation from me.
I Love all of you and pray for you guys to grow every day.
Love <3<3<3<3<3.
